Starting in mid-August, we begin seeing several new pollen types in the atmosphere. The most significant of these is ragweed pollen produced by several species of Ambrosia. Ragweed pollen can be found in the atmosphere from mid or late-August and continuing throughout the fall. Other weed pollen, grass pollen, and two types of tree pollen (elm and cedar) also occur during the fall in the Tulsa atmosphere.
